CApRx+Optum

Important News!

DON’T FORGET!

As previously announced, Capital Rx, the vendor that provides your health plan prescription drug coverage, is changing the provider of Prescription Home Delivery and Specialty Medications from Walmart to Optum® Home Delivery and Optum® Specialty Pharmacy.

This change is effective January 1, 2024.

Capital Rx has begun to send communications out to members.

If you have recently used prescription home delivery or specialty medications, you should have already received a letter from Capital Rx that explains the change and any action you may need to take.

Capital Rx has also recently started making follow-up phone calls to those members.

If you have recently used prescription home delivery or specialty medications, you will also get a call directly from Optum to answer any questions you might have about what you need to do to make sure you continue to receive your medications without any interruption.

SPECIAL NOTE: In early December Capital Rx mailed postcards to all members (regardless of whether you have ever used home delivery or specialty medications).

Unfortunately, the website address of the Capital Rx Member Portal was incorrectly listed. The correct address is: https://app.cap-rx.com/login. Capital Rx has mailed corrected versions.

Remember you can call Capital Rx Customer Care anytime at 1-877-542-2779. Or visit our website for more information.
